Street Outreach
LAYC staff canvas Wards 1, 2, and 4 to provide direct services and resources to vulnerable youth. Street Outreach staff is able to offer direct case management services, make referrals to our Drop-in Center, and handout essential items such as gloves, hats, hygiene products, and snacks to youth.
Along with street outreach, we have the help and opportunity to work with local businesses and organizations to connect with youth around the DMV area.

Youth Connections (MD)
Street outreach program addressed the needs of young adults, under the age of 25 who are experiencing homelessness in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The program will provide homeless youth gateway services, screening and assessment, access to emergency shelter, crisis stabilization services, service linkages, and provision of basic needs connection, follow-up and aftercare services.
