Join Latin American Youth Center’s team and make a difference for low-income and immigrant youth throughout the region! We offer opportunities to empower a diverse population of youth to achieve a successful transition to adulthood through multi-cultural, comprehensive, and innovative programs that address youths’ social, academic, and career needs.

Throughout Washington DC and Maryland’s Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties, our staff serve the region’s most deserving youth. LAYC staff provide GED and job readiness programs, HIV and pregnancy testing, arts and recreation, mental health and substance use treatment, housing assistance, and other services.

As the area’s youth development needs have grown, LAYC has grown, too. We have a staff of nearly 200, operating at three sites and at dozens of service points through partner organizations and schools. Our annual budget is $19 million.

While career opportunities are available in fields ranging from case management to administration, all LAYC staff are youth developers. Everything we do is within a positive youth development framework, which involves engaging young people in achieving their full potential by providing opportunities and services along with the mentoring support of a competent, caring adult.
