Family Transitional Housing

Hope’s House

Hope’s House caters to single mothers and fathers with children up to 8 years old. Hope’s House is an 18-month transitional living program for youth who are homeless or unstably housed and should be able to demonstrate that they have begun to build skills needed to live independently before beginning the program.

Youth live in efficiency apartments with their children in the NW area of DC. They receive weekly case management sessions, bi-weekly life skills, are connected to parenting classes, school, and childcare services, and are offered wrap-around services while in the program. Bilingual services in English/Spanish offered.
