LAYC has free health services for LAYC participants.
Do you need to talk to someone? Looking for free HIV, STI, and pregnancy testing and options counseling?
HIV, STI, Pregnancy Testing Drop-In
Drop-in for testing Monday-Thursday, 3-6 p.m. at LAYC’s, 1419 Columbia Road, NW, on the 3rd Floor. You’ll receive your results with counseling for HIV and pregnancy the same day. STI tests take one week to come back. Friendly staff is available in Spanish. A nurse practitioner offers free birth control consultations and STI treatments by appointment every Monday through Thursday from 4-7 p.m.

Counseling
Feeling blue? Do you want to stop smoking? Need help quitting substances? LAYC has licensed counselors to help you deal with depression, family conflict, or substance use. Bilingual staff is available to connect you to a counselor at LAYC or with a partner agency.
