Stronger Together: Messages and Images of Gratitude

A Message from Lupi

Recent tragedies around the country have made it challenging to maintain high spirits this season. Our President and CEO Lupi Quinteros-Grady shares a message about how we must persevere through unity during trying times.

2022 Thanksgiving Food Distribution

The displays of community solidarity across our LAYC/MMYC sites this week have been nothing short of inspiring. We are deeply grateful for all the corporate and community partners, donors, LAYC staff and volunteers who supported this year’s food distribution, which resulted in nearly 650 meals distributed across our three sites in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties and Washington, DC.

A round of applause to Washington Gas, EMD Sales, Capital One employees, Perkins & Will, Kaiser Permanente, LULAC Council 11041, DC Health Link, Safeway, Poor Roberts Mission, Capital Area Food Bank, Giant, and every individual who has showed up to ensure our LAYC families have the hearty Thanksgiving they deserve. Below are just a few images capturing our volunteers’ hard work.
